Each piece has been crafted carefully and thoughtfully by hand. One might treat those small inconsistencies or 'flaws' as integral features, which punctuate the narrative of any hand-crafted textile.

For Wool Fibres:

Hand-wash by gently agitating the garment in water that is around 30 degrees Celsius and seasoned with a mild, natural soap. Wash any naturally hand-dyed or darker colours separately. Dry lying flat and away from harsh sunlight.

Pilling is a natural occurrence, especially in wool fibers with high micron counts like merino or cashmere. Masking tape or a sweater stone may be used to eliminate excess pilling or fluff, once the garment is dry.

For Cotton Fibres:

Hand-wash by gently agitating the garment in water that is around 40 degrees Celsius and seasoned with a mild, natural soap. Wash hand-dyed or darker colours separately. Dry lying flat and away from harsh sunlight.

For Silk Fibres:

Hand-wash by gently agitating the garment in water that is around 30-40 degrees Celsius and seasoned with a mild, natural soap. Wash hand-dyed or darker colours separately. Dry lying flat and away from harsh sunlight.

For Linen and other Plant-Based Fibres:

Hand-wash by gently agitating the garment in water that is around 40-50 degrees Celsius and seasoned with a mild, natural soap. Wash hand-dyed or darker colours separately. Dry lying flat and away from harsh sunlight.

For Embroidered Application:

Hand-wash by gently agitating the garment in water that is around the temperature guide (above) for it’s principal fibre and season with a mild, natural soap. Wash hand-dyed or darker colours separately. Dry flat & away from harsh sunlight.

To restore flatness and vibrancy of any application, before use I would recommend a cool steam iron on the ‘wrong side’ of the fabric.
